Beloved husband of Georgia Cherie Yates (nee Cook), dear father of John August Yates, III and Jeffery Andrew Yates, dear father-in-law of Cecelia Yates and Lucy Yates, dear son of John August Yates, Sr. and Virginia Kathryn Yates, dear grandfather of Claire Ellen Yates and Nora Beatrice Yates.
Services: A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 15 at Ladue Chapel Presbyterian Church, 9450 Clayton Road, St Louis, MO 63124 at 1 p.m.
